Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity Dedicates 18th Affordable Home

TOMS RIVER, N.J. – Last Saturday, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity closed on its 18th affordable home in northern Ocean County. The home, located in the Toms River, was built on a donated township lot and completed with the help of major partners including Bywater Construction LLC, M&T Bank, Luminer Foundation, IGH Charitable Foundation, Inc., Wells Fargo and 100.1 WJRZ-FM., and many volunteers. Over 40 members from the community were in attendance at the ceremony including Mayor Kelaher of Toms River.

Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing ministry that brings people together to build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in northern Ocean County. To date, the Northern Ocean County affiliate has completed 18 new affordable homes, 60 Hurricane Sandy critical home repairs and over 147 home repairs.
