Northern Ocean Habitat Receives $35,000 Grant from Kohl’s

Toms River, NJ, (February 17, 2023) — This donation will be going towards Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity’s 23rd and 24th home builds in Berkeley Township. Later in 2023, two partner families will be welcomed into their forever homes.

“We’re so thankful for Kohl’s in helping us support our mission to provide affordable homeownership to families. We enjoy having Kohl’s associates volunteer at our events and look forward to their involvement through the year,” Kristine Novakowski, Executive Director.

Volunteers from Kohl’s volunteered at our 2022 Walk to Build and 2023 Bingo Fundraiser. They were a huge help with running the events and we’re excited for them to be a part of more in the future!

Embracing the Spirit of the Season by Giving Back to Communities

Kohl’s grant to Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity was made through Kohl’s A Community with Heart Program, which donated $5 million in grants to selected nonprofit organizations across the country.
