Thank you, Labcorp!

The Labcorp Charitable Foundation granted $5,000 to help fund Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity’s Critical Home Repair Program projects. This program addresses health and safety issues to keep residents in the comfort of their own homes.

One of the projects The Labcorp Charitable Foundation helped fund was a bathroom modification for Jennie, an 80-year old woman in a wheelchair. Her son, Lance, is her in-home care taker. The home did not have the space needed for Jennie to fully operate in her home. The Northern Ocean Habitat construction team installed a wheelchair shower and accessible sink, widened the doorway to the bathroom, and installed vinyl plank flooring. Lance can now care for his mother knowing they have the space and modifications she needs to age in place!
