Thank You Virtual Walk to Build 2020 Participants!

I would like to thank you for helping us make our virtual Walk to Build 2020 a success. Together we were able to raise $2,500 to help build our 20th home in 2020. I look forward to next year when we can walk together in unity as we have in the past.

 I would like to recognize Suzan Fichtner, our outgoing Executive Director, for her tireless dedication to Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity over the past 11 years. Walking beside her the past month as we transitioned roles, I have witnessed the impact she has made on our community. Many families now have a decent place to live. A home where they can shelter safely. A home where their children can attend school virtually. A home that provides security, stability, and self-reliance. Thank you, Suzan for paving the path for me.

Our mission work continues as we help our neighbors with critical home repairs so they can remain in their home safely. The number of requests for help is great, especially during this time of sheltering in place. Thank you for your continued support as we continue to do everything we can to build stronger communities, offer hope and to care for each other.  Together, we can work towards a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
