Women Build 2023
Our 22nd home build in Manchester was our home base for Women Build Week 2023! We were joined by 3 wonderful community partners; Crossroads Realty, Ferguson, and First Commerce Bank.
Crossroads Realty
Crossroads Realty spent the first day building the first part of the ramp that’s going to assist our homeowner Diana, with transporting her disabled daughters in and out of the home when they move in. Bridget Bonica, the Chief Marketing Officer of Crossroads Realty, joined us for the day and has been involved in many volunteer projects over the years. She has recently become one of our new Board Members.

Ferguson
Day 2: Ferguson volunteers with our homeowner, Diana.
Ferguson women came out for the second day to complete the second phase of the ramp. They also moved inside of the home to begin painting wall and window trim. Diana worked alongside of Ferguson, as she did with Crossroads Realty and First Commerce Bank, as part of her sweat equity hours.
First Commerce Bank
First Commerce Bank was our final group of women who came out for day 3. They continued working on the large ramp and went inside to start painting more trim and ceilings. April Huchko, Senior Vice President and Chief Retail Officer of First Commerce Bank, is as a volunteer of ours that serves on our Home Services Committee, and came out for this special project with her group.
