Diana

22nd homeowner

Diana is a single mom to twin daughters, Adrianna and Arianna. Diana prayed to be blessed with the opportunity to become a homeowner to best provide for her girls. In July 2016, her daughters came into this world three months early. Both of her girls were diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy at 18 months old.

They currently live in an apartment complex that does not have ADA modifications to accommodate disabled needs. Diana’s home will be a special build for Northern Ocean Habitat as we will modify the home to best adapt to her daughters’ needs.

Diana’s home is a unique build for Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity. This is the first home build that had to transport a modular home across 25 miles! The 1900-square-foot modular home located in Normandy Beach, NJ was an anonymous donation by a family looking to build a new construction home on their land but didn’t want to demo their current modular that was in great condition. The modular home was transported to a donated plot of land in Manchester, NJ by the Gorcey Family.
