Celebrating Service: CEO Kristine Novakowski Recognized with St. Joseph the Worker Award 2025
We are proud to share that our CEO, Kristine Novakowski, was honored with the 2025 St. Joseph the Worker Award during St. Joseph’s Grade School and Donovan Catholic High School’s Thanksgiving Prayer Service last week.
The service brought together students, faculty, and families in a spirit of gratitude and reflection. This year’s theme—giving thanks for the gift of our home—reminded everyone that a home is more than a structure; it is a place where love, family, and God’s presence dwell.
Kristine’s commitment to expanding access to safe, affordable housing embodies this message. Through her leadership, Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity continues to help families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership and critical home repairs. Her dedication reflects the very qualities the St. Joseph the Worker Award honors: compassion, service, and a steadfast devotion to supporting others.
We are incredibly grateful to St. Joseph’s and Donovan Catholic for recognizing Kristine’s impact and for highlighting the importance of Habitat’s mission within our community.
