Women Build Kick Off Luncheon
We had an inspiring afternoon on Monday, May 12 at our 2025 Women Build Kick Off Luncheon at the Grenville Hotel & Restaurant! We celebrated the power of women coming together to build homes, communities, and hope. Thank you to everyone who joined us to build something greatHER.

Herc Rentals
The Herc Rentals team proudly kicked off our Women Build projects in Whiting by replacing windows and helping a local homeowner create a safer, brighter space. We loved the energy and women’s empowerment this group brought to the job site!
Harrogate Retirement Community
The amazing volunteers of Harrogate Retirement Community rolled up their sleeves and gave back in a big way! They participated in a Women Build project at a 21 Plus, Inc. home in Beachwood and gave the inside a fresh coat of paint. The residents are so grateful for the refresh!
Manasquan Bank
Manasquan Bank joined Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity for a special Women Build project—bringing fresh color and new energy to the 21 Plus Adult Training Center in Toms River! With every brushstroke, they helped create a warmer, more welcoming space where residents can learn, grow, and thrive. We know the individuals here will love their newly painted environment.
New Jersey Natural Gas
Big thanks to the incredible team from New Jersey Natural Gas who rolled up their sleeves for our Women Build project in Toms River! Together, they brought fresh color and care to the kitchen, doors, and trim of a 21 Plus, Inc. home—turning it into a brighter, more welcoming space. They also built a new garbage corral, helping to keep the property neat and making day-to-day life more convenient for the residents.

Community Medical Center brought a powerful team to the construction site for their Women Build project! They spent the day in Whiting replacing windows for a homeowner – bringing warmth and safety into her home. Thank you for building a stronger community with us!
oceanfirst bank
OceanFirst Bank joined us for a Women Build project at Larry’s home in Little Egg Harbor — a soon-to-be veteran sober living home! Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, Just Believe Inc., and the Westlake Veterans Group has joined forces to complete this home for veterans in our community.
The OceanFirst Bank volunteers were instrumental in making this house a home. We had a team that painted all of doors and trim, and a second team that installed kitchen cabinets. We’re so grateful for their efforts that benefit multiple non-profits and veterans who need a hand-up. Thank you, ladies!
ua local 9 plumbers and pipefitters
Our final Women Build project of 2025 was spent with the UA Local 9 Plumbers and Pipefitters back at Larry’s home in Little Egg Harbor! More kitchen cabinets were hung, trim and baseboards were installed, and a whole lot of heart was poured into this project. Thank you ladies for helping us create a space for veterans in our community to thrive!
